Reception invitation, with a headcount you can actually use

A reception invitation needs an RSVP more than any other function, because the reception is plated and seated. Guests reply inside the invite and the list downloads as a PDF or an Excel sheet for the caterer.

Starting from ₹1,699plus GST₹4,999

Starting from ₹1,699 once, plus GST. Your invitation remains hosted for 2 months from purchase, long enough for the cards, the replies and the day itself.

When the reception usually is, and who comes

The evening of the wedding, or a separate day in the groom's city. Often the only function a colleague or a distant relative is invited to.

The widest list of the whole wedding: colleagues, neighbours, family friends and everyone who could not be at the ceremony.

Wording you can use

Short lines work better than formal ones for a reception. These are yours to copy and change.

  • We are married. Come and eat with us.
  • Reception from 7 pm onwards. Dinner from 8.
  • Kindly let us know if you can join, so we can keep a seat.

The thing this invite usually gets wrong

Not asking how many people are coming. A reception is counted in plates, and a reply that says yes without a number is only half the answer.

On its own, or as part of the wedding invite

You can send a reception invitation on its own, or add the reception as one event inside your main wedding invite alongside the other functions. Either way it carries its own date, time, venue and map link, and events you leave blank never appear.
