The case for printing some cards

There is a real one. Elders expect a card in hand, the first card goes to the temple or the gurdwara, and a printed invitation is part of the ceremony in many families.

Most couples now do both: a small print run of thirty to fifty cards for the people who should receive one by hand, and the link for everybody else. That is usually a tenth of the printing cost.
